Welcome to Dan's site

• I'm currently working on a company that I've started, OARBS Software Corporation. OARBS is web-based resource scheduling software tool designed for the K-12 market. It allows an organization to maximize their investment in equipment, get the best use out of it, and make teachers' days easier. There's a free OARBS trial available!
• The Schedulator is back online, after having moved and forced to keep the server in storage for a month.
• The Software Engineering Resource Page has gotten a new facelift, with funky keyboard shortcuts!

Who is Dan?
I am a 3rd year software engineering student at the University of Waterloo, with a keen business interest. I like finding a business and entrepreneurial twist to whatever I'm involved in, which only serves to fuel my passion about software and Internet technologies.

I would like to see a world where everything is online, and on-demand. No more waiting, no more fuss. All the information and services one ever wants to be right there at one's fingertips. The Internet is making it happen, and I'm extremely interested in not only keeping that ball rolling, but to add momentum and find new and creative ways to expand web services.

This site is an extension of my resume and contains a portfolio of some of the projects that I've worked on - go look around! I'll keep posting interesting projects that I'm working on when I have the time, and when they become more than just ideas floating around in my head.
I've also got a Blog that I write on, be sure to check that out! I've got a list of stories that'll make their way onto that blog in the near future.
